ANDREW TANNER-SMITH, Programme Manager - Internet & Enterprise Research Group, Frost & Sullivan Europe
Andrew leads a team of analysts specialising in Internet markets within the ICT group based in London. He has worked at Frost & Sullivan for four years and has been involved in a wide range of publications as well as contributing to consulting work for a range of clients with interests in the software industry. His portfolio of published work includes detailed research of the of a wide range of Enterprise, Internet, Network Security markets. Most of his time is spent on consulting projects although he also continues to monitor a variety of software markets for published studies. Prior to joining Frost & Sullivan Andrew completed a Masters' Degree in Science and Technology Policy from the Science Policy Research Unit, based at the University of Sussex. His research interests within this degree primarily concerned European Union Science and Technology policy and its funding of fundamental and applied research. His Undergraduate degree, a BSc (Hons) in New Technology from the University of East London concerned the relationship between innovation and society. His undergraduate thesis concerned the role of small businesses as service providers on information highways.
Vineeta Kommineni is a Senior Research Analyst with the IT Practice Division of Frost & Sullivan. Ms. Kommineni’s charter is to track developments in the Interactive Kiosk, Point of Decision (PoD) Kiosk, Self-Checkout and Digital Signage spaces. She has authored syndicated research on these areas and contributed articles to Kiosk Magazine, Intele Card News, Field Force Automation and frost.com. She has been quoted in Chain Store Age, eWeek, Promo and Kiosk Magazine. Ms. Kommineni holds a Masters degree in Marketing Communication from the Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad.
